Psychotherapy (sometimes called “talk therapy”) is a term for a variety of treatment techniques that aim to help a person identify and change troubling emotions, thoughts, and behavior. In my practice, I take a wellness approach to treatment. I believe that it is important to address the mind-body-spirit connections in who we are and what we do. I use a variety of modalities in treatment. I encourage clients to engage in creativity and self-care to enhance the therapeutic process to feel better in all areas of their life. I use a strengths-based, solution-focused framework for moving clients forward on their journey to health, happiness, and wellness.
